Carla P. Bautista is of counsel to the firm. Ms. Bautista received a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Growth & Structure of Cities, from Haverford College in 2012. Ms. Bautista received a Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2015. Ms. Bautista was admitted to the New York Bar in March 2018.
During law school, Ms. Bautista was involved in organizations such as the National Lawyers Guild and the Public Interest Law Group, presiding as President of both organizations. Ms. Bautista received an award both summers of law school to work at non-profit organizations in the New Orleans metro area, specifically the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center and the Workplace Justice Project at Loyola University. Ms. Bautista also served as a Clinical Practitioner in the Employment Law Clinic during her third year of law school. Ms. Bautista recently spoke as a panelist on the topic of transitioning from school to work at the Continuing Revolution 2018: Building Intentional Lives Conference at Pendle Hill.
Ms. Bautista is focusing her practice on employment litigation, including discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hours, and breach of employment contracts.
